For our members, The Mansion truly is a life experience. It’s where CEOs inspire their employees. It’s where business associates and friends meet for drinks and sweets. It’s where artists and authors find their Muse. It’s where families gather for Sunday brunch. And it’s where the music plays on, beyond forever.
We have entertained dignitaries, scholars and music, movie and sports legends — let us entertain you. Live Heaven, Live Life at The Mansion.
Q: Can The Mansion prepare my wedding/birthday and/or celebration cake?
A: Our pastry chef — rated among the ten best in the country — can create any vision you have for your cake, pie or other confection. Our desserts are our signature, and the perfect way to top off your event.
Q: How much does a wedding cake cost?
A: Depending on the size, design and ingredients, cakes range between $3.50/person and $10/person. Be sure to consider the size of your cake carefully. Many people order cakes larger than their headcount to ensure a good photo-op -- if budget is of no concern, we agree. But this can be unnecessarily costly. You might consider one of our spectacular ceremonial cakes for only $150 – it is beautiful, and two tiers. You cut the cake for your “keepsake photograph” but then you get to take the entire cake home!
Q: I am not sure I want a traditional wedding cake. What do you suggest?
A: Many brides opt out of a wedding cake. They prefer serving our fabulous array of award winning desserts -- for less money than it costs to have a wedding cake!
Q: I want a grooms cake. Can you do that for me too?
A: We love this custom, and look forward to helping you find the perfect cake for him!
Q: Can I bring my own cake?
A: Certainly. There is a cake-cutting fee of $1.50/person -- if you bring in a cake. Have your bakery contact the Events Coordinator to arrange the drop off and set-up of your cake.
Q: Do you offer cakes, pastries, cookies and desserts for people with special dietary needs?
A: We offer a wide variety of delicious sweets catering to all dietary restrictions including; sugar free, lactose free, gluten free, kosher, vegan and low fat options but it must be specified two weeks in advance.
Q: What about other “dessert options” rather than cakes and cookies?
A: The Mansion knows how to please the sweet tooth in everyone. Want retro candy? We have it! Want something more sophisticated? Try our fruit and dessert cheese trays. For a more luscious treat try a Mansion favorite – the chocolate fountain. Choose from one to three fountains laden with warm flowing white chocolate, milk chocolate or dark chocolate. Fourteen fixings including marshmallows, cookies, pretzels, potato chips, and a variety of fresh fruits are available to dip to your hearts content. Yum!
Q: I am doing a plated dinner and don’t know if I should do a plated dessert or a buffet. What do you recommend?
A: This is a personal decision that we cannot make for you, but we prefer the buffet option only because it gives your guests the opportunity to mingle – and stand up. It can get boring seated at one table for a long time, and is the perfect excuse to “escape.” But again, this is just an observation, and we are here to make your dreams, real.
